iGOT Karmayogi is an online learning platform designed to develop skilled civil servants who deeply understand Indian values. It aims to align their efforts towards India’s priorities and ensure smooth, effective public service delivery.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 'Karmayogi Saptah,' or National Learning Week, on Saturday (October 19) at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi. 

This initiative focuses on enhancing the skills and capacity of civil servants at both individual and organisational levels across the country.

The platform focuses on "rule-based" to "role-based" governance and offers 6 learning courses for government officials to choose from. The goal is to create a more efficient and responsive government better equipped to address the needs of the Indian people.

i-GOT Karmayogi is an integrated online training platform under Mission Karmayogi, aimed at enhancing the skills and competencies of Indian civil servants.

1. E-Learning Courses: Over 830 high-quality e-learning courses covering functional, behavioural, and domain-specific training tailored to the needs of civil servants.
2. Blended Learning Programs: These integrate traditional classroom training with online components, allowing for flexible learning while retaining face-to-face interactions. A notable example is the VIKAS program, aimed at middle management.
3. Curated Programs: Tailored learning journeys created by individual ministries or training institutions, utilising resources from the i-GOT repository to address specific capacity-building needs.
4. Domain-Specific Courses: Recently launched courses focusing on specific competencies required for various government roles, developed as part of an Annual Capacity Building Plan.
5. Competency-Based Training: Courses aligned with the Framework of Roles, Activities, and Competencies (FRAC), ensuring that training is relevant to individual positions within government organisations.

How to Register for Online Courses? Steps to Follow!

2. Click on the Registration Button: Locate the yellow "Register" button at the top right corner of the homepage and click on it.
3. Fill in Your Details: Enter your full name, select your group from the available options, and provide your email ID and mobile number.
4. Verify Your Mobile Number: Click on "Send OTP" to receive a One-Time Password on your mobile. Enter the OTP to verify your number.

5. Select Your Organisation: Choose whether you are affiliated with a Central or State organisation and enter the name of your organisation.

6. Agree to Terms: Check the boxes to agree to the terms of service for i-GOT Karmayogi.

7. Complete Registration: Click on "Sign Up" to finalise your registration.

8. Log In: After registering, return to the homepage, click on the "Login" button, and enter your credentials to access the platform.

Users can find a mix of free and priced courses. Many courses are available at no cost, provided by institutions like IGNOU, Harvard, and Khan Academy, which can be accessed immediately upon registration.
