The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council has released the admit card for class 12th students. The admit cards were released on January 30, 2019. Schools registered with the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council are responsible for collecting the admit cards from the board's office. Some of the schools have also been sent the admit cards by post.
The Assam Board exams for the class 12th students will begin on February 12, 2019, and will be conducted for a month-long period. The exam will end on March 14, 2019. The exams will be conducted in two shifts, the morning shift and the afternoon shift. The morning shift is from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm whereas the afternoon shift is from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
Registered candidates will be issued their admit card by their respective schools. It is compulsory for the students to carry their admit cards at the time of the exam. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre without a valid admit card. The admit cards contains all the essential information such as the candidate's name, candidate roll number, registration number, enrolment number, date of birth, exam date, exam time, reporting time, exam centre etc.
Also, the Secondary Education Board of Assam is soon expected to release the admit cards for the class 10th Board examination. The class 10th Assam Board examination is scheduled to be held from February 14, 2019. The first exam to be held is the English language exam. The exams will end on March 6, 2019.
