The minister further added that the bridge course will not only connect two classes but will also carry forward the education of the students who have been left behind.
The students will also have to take three tests during the courses in the online or offline mode and the teachers will keep a record of the marks scored by the students in the tests. She also added that the students who are lagging behind can be taken along through the bridge course. She further stated that the initiative will be useful in strengthening the foundation of the education of the children.
Reopening of Schools in villages
Maharashtra state CM has recently asked the Education Department to explore the possibility of restarting schools and colleges in the villages for the class 10 and 12 students without COVID-19 cases.
The villages which have not reported fresh COVID-19 cases for a long time and where there are no chances for finding new infections could be considered for reopening of the schools and colleges.
