The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has made an important change to the dress code for Class 12 students appearing in the 2025 exams. Starting from February 6, 2025, students will not be allowed to wear shoes and socks in the exam hall.
This rule change comes after a temporary relaxation from February 1 to February 5, 2025, due to the cold weather. Now, with the weather improving, the original dress code policy will be enforced again.
Students must follow these new guidelines to avoid being denied entry into the exam hall. The BSEB Class 12 exams are being held for 12,92,313 students at 1,677 exam centers across the state. The exams, which began on February 1, will end on February 15, 2025. The board has implemented several measures for smooth exam conduct, including two-level frisking, three-tier magistrate deployment, CCTV monitoring, and strict entry rules.
Today, on February 5, 2025, BSEB is conducting the Physics, Geography, and Business Studies exams. The Physics exam for Science students is being held in the morning shift from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm, while the Geography and Business Studies exams for Arts and Commerce students will take place in the afternoon shift from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm.
