Calcutta University has decided to conduct the first, third, and fifth-semester exams for the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the online mode in January and February 2022. The decision has been made by the university officials taking into consideration the new Omicron variant posing a threat.
Calcutta University Vice-chancellor Sonali Chakraborty Banerjee stated that since the new variant of COVID-19 has emerged, the syndicate in a meeting decided to conduct the semester exams in the online mode.
The UG and PG classes have already commenced in the colleges affiliated to the university and the university campus on alternate days in both online and offline mode.
Calcutta University Exam Details
The university Vice-chancellor stated that exams for the third and fifth-semester undergraduate level exams and third semester PG level exams will be held in January 2022. The Calcutta University first semester undergraduate and postgraduate exams will be conducted in February 2022 and like last year, the university will mail the soft copies of the question papers to the affiliated colleges on the exam day besides uploading the questions on the website.
Students attending the exams are required to type in the answers on their devices and mail the same to the designated address. Students can also download the question papers, write down the answers, and scan and mail the answer sheets in the form of a PDF document.
