CBSE Class 10th Result 2018: The Central Board of School Education declared the CBSE 10th Result 2018 on the official website that is cbse.nic.in. Earlier this week, the CBSE declared the Class 12th result 2018 for all the students who have appeared in the CBSE intermediate examinations 2018. The CBSE 10th Examinations began on 5th March and ended on 4th April. The CBSE 10th Result 2018 will decide the future of many students. The candidates will be able to select streams of their choice. The original mark sheet will be distributed by the schools, till then; the students can take a print out of their CBSE 10th Result score cards for future references.
In total 1624682 students appeared for the CBSE Class 10th Examinations, out of which 1408594 managed to pass. The total pass percentage is 86.70%. The girls have performed better than boys by scoring 3.35% extra. The pass percentage for girls id 88.67 and for boys it is 85.32%. The top three regions are Thiruvananthapuram at rank one with 99.60 %, Chennai with 97.37 has secured second rank and Ajmer has got 3rd rank with 91.86%. Prachi Mittal of DPS Gurgaon has secured 499 out of 500 and bagged the 1st position.
The CBSE’s spokesperson Rama Sharma quoted that, “CBSE has partnered with Google for the first time to host the board’s Class 10 and Class 12 results on the search engine.” The students will be able to check their results on Google by searching for CBSE Class 10 result. They will have to fill in the required details to login and check their results. There was news that the paper of CBSE Class 10th Maths examinations was leaked. This caused disturbance and anxiety among the students. But the CBSE informed that they won’t be conducting any re-examination for the Maths Paper.
This year, nearly 28 lakh students had registered to appear for the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. More than 16,38,420 students registered for Class 10 exam that was held at 4,453 centres all over India and 78 centres abroad. To check the result, the students are requested to go to the official website cbseresults.nic.in. After that they’ll find a link to the CBSE 10th Result. The students are requested to check their result by entering their roll number and other details.
