CBSE 12th Result 2020: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met CBSE 12th Class Toppers from Delhi Government Schools and congratulated them for their stellar performance in the CBSE 12th Results 2020 announced by the Board recently. Delhi CM said that performance of Delhi Gov’t School students proof of the students' "undeterred efforts" and "dedication towards studies". Top Scorers from Delhi’s Government schools also met Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia as well. Officially, CBSE has not released by CBSE 12th Toppers List 2020 or Merit List for top scorers of the examination. But, at school level, the administrations have revealed the names of top performers in the Class 12 Results.
Delhi CM Sensitized Students About Their Responsibilities Towards The Country
During the felicitation meet organized for the CBSE 12th Toppers 2020 from Gov’t Schools, Delhi Chief Minister sensitized students about their roles and responsibilities towards the country. He shared with students taxpayers' money is being utilised to fund government schools, making education free and accessible to all. He also added that therefore, it is important for students to remember this and pay back to their nation when they grow up. He also added that "It is the money paid as a tax by a poor man through which you are receiving free and good quality education.”
He also congratulated students saying that "Each one of you has faced a difficult situation, be it health complications of a family member or financial shortcomings at home, but you did not give up. By sheer determination, you achieved such a good result. The results are proof of your undeterred efforts and dedication towards studies."
Success Stories of Students
As per a PTI report, the students who met Delhi Chief Minister at his residence on Wednesday were mainly those who had faced immense hardships this year to appear for the exams. These students overcame all the challenges and rose above difficulties to not only appear for the CBSE Board Exams 2020 but also to clear them with flying colours.
Sharing story of one such student, PTI Report says that Sarvar Khan is a student who was affected by the north east Delhi riots; despite this, he didn’t give up and appeared for the Board exams He has managed to score 73.40 per cent in the board exams. In another such example, Shameena Khatoon who belongs to a conservative family, broke away from the stereotype of girls not being allowed to study with the support of her father. She scored 95.6 per cent. On similar lines, Mehjabi, who scored 94 per cent in the board examination, is the first girl in her extended family who has studied up to class 12.

Another student that overcame financial difficulties to perform extremely well in the CBSE 12th Board exam is Raghav Kumar, a native of Bihar. Raghav scored 93.4 per cent in the board exam. During the preparation phase, Raghav use to give tuition to students in his neighbourhood to fund his stay and education in Delhi. In another such incident, Charu Yadav switched his stream from Science to Humanities and emerged as the topper of the stream in his school by scoring 96% marks.
