On Exam Schedule
Answering query on the exam schedule, Mr Emmanuel said that although several state governments and state boards have decided to postpone the holding of the annual and board exams; so far, the CBSE Board has not taken any confirmed decision on this. On Online Classes
Speaking to the media agency, CBSE Director of Academics Mr Emmanuel said that currently, around 90% of the CBSE schools across the country are fully connected with internet and therefore are able to conduct online classes for the students. He also added that of the total number of enrolled students, around 30% of the students are unable to participate in the online classes as of now. To address this challenge, the CBSE board has directed schools to pay individual attention to such students and provide them short and simple notes to ensure academic continuity. Moreover, students and teachers have also been instructed to connect over phone to resolve any doubts. Another important step in ensuring that students are able to continue their studies is through Peer Learning, wherein students in senior classes coach juniors, is also being implemented.
