CBSE issues ‘Show-Cause’ Notices to 29 Schools For Enrollment Irregularities

CBSE ‘Show-Cause’ Notice: The board carried out surprise inspections in the school in December and discovered that there had been widespread enrollment irregularities. It also had cases of admitting students beyond their actual attendance records and approving non-attending enrollments.

Also, the board noticed that these schools failed to meet academic and infrastructural standards.

“CBSE has taken serious note of these violations and has issued show-cause notices to all 29 schools involved. Each school has been provided with a copy of the respective inspection report and has been directed to submit their replies within 30 days."

Of the 29 schools that received show-cause notices from the CBSE, 18 are located in Delhi, 3 in Uttar Pradesh, and 2 each in Karnataka, Bihar, Gujarat, and Chhattisgarh. We are providing the detailed list of schools by state:
