School Holidays 2025: Due to severe cold weather conditions, many districts have extended holidays. In Ghaziabad, adjoining Delhi, schools have been ordered to remain closed until 18 January 2025. The holidays can be extended further.
School Holidays In UP and Lucknow
Due to the cold wave, the holidays have been extended. Lucknow DM Surya Pal Gangwar has extended the holidays for schools up to class 8 until January 16. Schools will open on January 17, 2025, in Lucknow. For classes above class 8, the administration has ordered the extension of timings from 10 am to 3 pm. Schools up to class 8 will open in Badaun on January 17. Schools in Rampur and Moradabad will be closed until January 16. Well, the classes from 9th to 12th will be from 10 am to 3 pm. In Bareilly, the schools will be closed on Wednesday.
Patna School Holidays 2025
In Bihar, holidays were declared in all schools until January 15, 2025. Schools above class 8 have been ordered to reschedule the teaching time from 9 am to 3:30 pm for the safety of students.
Delhi School Holidays 2025
The schools in Delhi have been directed to continue the hybrid classes for students up to classes 9 and 11. Schools for classes 1 to 8 in Ghaziabad will remain closed until January 18 and schools in Noida for nursery to Class 8 will remain closed until further notice due to the cold wave conditions.
Ghaziabad School Holidays 2025
The schools are likely to open from January 20, 2025.
Uttarakhand School Holidays 2025
Areas with altitudes below 5000 feet had winter holidays from January 1-13, 2025. All schools will open from 15 January 2025.
