CISCE Fake Notification Warning: In response to some of the fake notices which are being circulated on social media, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations has issued a clarification stating that the Council has neither set new dates nor has cancelled the postponed examination altogether.
According to the official notification available on the website, the council has stated that four fake notices have been circulated out of which two are dated April 1, 2020, while two are dated February 7 and March 28, 2020. The CISCE has notified that false information related to the ICSE and ISC examinations are being circulated on Whatsapp and other Social Media. Parents have been requested to check the official notice board and the news section on the website for correct information.

According to the notification, the first document dated April 1, 2020, states that the remaining examinations for ICSE and ISC 2020 exams have been cancelled while another document also dates April 1, 2020, has stated that the revised dates of the ICSE and ISC exams are April 16 to 22, 2020. CISCE has confirmed that both the documents are fake.
The third document dated March 28, 2020, states that the results for the board examinations will be declared based on the 6 examinations conducted which the students have appeared for, while the fourth document dates February 2, 2020, is a notification about the ISC English I examination and the CISCE have also confirmed that these documents are fake.
The Council has confirmed that they have not cancelled any examinations and neither have they scheduled the postponed examinations. The council has however advised students to only refer to the official website for all the examination related updates.
