World Health Organization Director-General Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Sunday issued a statement saying that lifting of lockdown by government doesn’t mark and end to the pandemic. He says that due to economic compulsions, many countries are planning to lift lockdown restrictions imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19. But this will only lead us to next phase, which is much more vital. He also urged governments across the world to educate, engage and empower their people to prevent and respond rapidly to any resurgence of the novel coronavirus.
