Gujarat State Government to conduct 'Study in Gujarat' Road Show to attract students to study here

The Department of Higher and Technical Education, Gujarat will be conducting roadshows across the country in order to attract students to pursue their studies in the state. The ‘Study in Gujarat’ roadshows will be conducted across seven different cities in the country as well as four cities abroad. It is reported that the roadshow will be planned in January 2020.

In the country, the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Gujarat will be conducting roadshows in Patna, Ranchi, Indore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Guwahati, and Nasik while the roadshow abroad will be held in cities like Kuwait, Dubai, Muscat, and Riyadh.

Principals, Student counselors, and teachers interested to participate in the roadshow will have to register for the programme on the ‘Study in Gujarat’ website – study.gujarat.gov.in

In support of the initiative, the Central Board of Secondary Education released a notification informing about the roadshow asking the principals, student counselors and teachers to attend the roadshow to be conducted by Gujarat.

As per reports, the roadshow will begin in Guwahati on January 20, 2020, followed by Indore on January 21, 2020, Kolkata on January 22, 2020, Patna and Ranchi on January 28, 2020, Hyderabad on January 29, 2020, and Nasik on January 31, 2020.

With regard to the roadshow conducted abroad, the first city will be Kuwait on January 15 and 16, followed by Dubai on January 17 and 18, 2020, Muscat on January 19 and 20 and Riyadh on January 21 and 22, 2020.

The Department of Higher and Technical Education, Gujarat has also planned roadshows for countries like Zimbabwe, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Bhutan, the details for which will be announced later by the department.
