IGNOU Re-registration 2024 Deadline: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the re-registration process for all courses offered in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online mode. Candidates can apply for their preferred programmes till March 10, 2024 with a late fee of Rs 200. Applicants can visit the official website - ignou.ac.in and re-register for the IGNOU January 2024 session.

The institute announced the extension of the date on its social media account. The online application process for IGNOU's January 2024 session commenced on December 5, 2023. Earlier, the last date to complete the registration process was January 31, which was later extended to February 15 and further extended until February 29, 2024. Candidates may reach out to the regional centre for re-setting of his/her account or update their email ID or mobile number if they face any difficulties while registering on the portal. Candidates must note that they must provide the correct contact information for seamless communication. 

Steps To Apply For IGNOU Re-registration Form 2024

Candidates can go through the steps mentioned below to fill out the IGNOU re-registration form 2024 before the mentioned deadline.

Step 1: Visit the official website - onlinerr.ignou.ac.in

Step 2: Click on ‘Re-Registration’ link

Step 3: Enter your valid login credentials

Step 4: Fill out the form and upload the required documents

Step 5: Pay the registration fee

Step 6: Download the confirmation page and keep a hardcopy for future reference

What Is The Refund Policy On Cancellation?

In case a candidate wishes to cancel the admission and request a refund, the refund process will be as per the university policy mentioned below.

The full programme fee paid will be refunded before the confirmation of admission. However, the admission of a candidate is confirmed, the refund will be done according to the given timeline.

Within 15 days of confirmation: The programme fee will be refunded after a deduction of Rs 500.

Within 16-90 days of confirmation: The programme fee will be refunded after a deduction of Rs 1000.

After 90 days of confirmation of admission: No refund will be allowed. For the latest updates, students are advised to visit the official website of IGNOU.
