The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has postponed the Class 10 and 12 board exams scheduled for Friday due to a holiday for Shab-e-Barat. The exams will now be held on March 4. Over 7.84 lakh students are enrolled for the exams, which started on Tuesday under tight security.

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has declared the Friday schedule Class 10 and 12 board exams postponed because the state government declared a holiday for Shab-e-Barat. The exams will take place on March 4.
The Class 10 (matriculation) and Class 12 (intermediate) examinations commenced under tight security in Jharkhand on Tuesday. Over 7.84 lakh students are participating in the exams. Regional language papers for Class 10 (Kharia, Khortha, Kurmali, Nagpuri, and Panch Pargania) and the core compulsory language paper for Class 12 were scheduled to be conducted on Friday. These will now be conducted on March 4, the JAC has stated.
