Exam Scheduled to be held in July
Like all other national and state-level entrance exams, the KCET 2020 or Karnataka CET 2020 exam, which was originally scheduled to be held in May, has been postponed due to the on-going COVID-19 crisis. Now, as per the revised exam dates, the Karnataka CET 2020 exam will be held on 30th and 31st July 2020.
Exam Centre Change Allowed
One of the key reasons for reopening of application correction window is to allow registered candidates to change their exam centres for KCET 2020. Since the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic, many candidates and students who were studying away from their homes, have been forced to move back to their hometown. With lockdown extended and academic institutions still closed, it is highly unlikely that students would move back by the time exam is scheduled to be held. Therefore, to allow such students to change their examination centre and select ones that are closer to their current place / residence.
