KREIS Class 6 Admission 2025: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has shared details about the entrance test and online counselling for students who want to join class 6 in residential schools for the 2025-26 academic year. Check the eligibility and other details below:
Eligibility
Children who are studying in Class 5 are eligible for this. However, there is a family income limit:
- The family’s annual income must be Rs. 5,25,000 or less for the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories.
- For Hin. Varga Varga-1, the income limit is also Rs. 5,25,000.
- The family’s annual income must be Rs. 5,10,000 or less for categories 22, 24, 32A, 32B, 36, and 37.
Application Process
Parents can apply easily online for admission from January 11, 2025 (starting at 4:00 PM) to January 25, 2025 (until 11:59 PM). They can apply through the website of residential schools and colleges under the Karnataka Association of Residential Educational Institutions (KREIS). Entrance Test
The entrance exam for KEA will be conducted on February 15, 2025. Students can download their admit cards from the KEA and KREIS websites starting February 6, 2025.
Documents Needed
- SATS number
- Recent photograph
- Original or Xerox copies of reservation documents
- School leaving certificate (original or attested copy) from the school where the student is in class 5.
Selection Process
- Students must choose schools in the order they prefer when applying online.
- The schools that are listed in the selected order will be considered for admission.
- There will be a computerised process with the help of which seats will be given along with entrance test scores, reservation categories, and the priority of schools chosen.
