Karnataka SSLC Exam 2025: As per reports, Karnataka Minister for School Education and Literacy, Madhu Bangarappa has announced that the KSEAB will no longer offer grace marks to students. According to reports, it was announced that there will be no grace marks for SSLC exams from this year onwards.

Until the previous year, SSLC students were given grace marks to improve results and end malpractice. As per details provided, over 1.5 lakh students were given 20% grace marks in the Karnataka SSLC exam 2024 from which 10% were introduced during COVID and the other 10% was considering the reforms introduced. With the announcement of scrapping grace marks, the 10% grace marks introduced during COVID will also be scrapped.

The minister while making the announcement added that there is no fear among students on the reforms made and no need for grace marks. Malpractice has stopped due to the reforms introduced in the exams last year, he added. The incidents of copying during the exams were curbed due to the reforms introduced and students now are fully aware of the system in place with no fear or confusion. Considering this there is no need to grant grace marks.

Karnataka SSLC Exam 2025

As per previous year trends, the Karnataka SSLC, Class 10 exam 2025 will be held in March-April 2025 and the results are expected to be announced by May 2025. The complete datesheet for the KSEAB SSLC board exam 2025 is expected to be announced by December 2024. The date sheet pdf will be available on the official website of KSEAB - kseab.karnataka.gov.in
