The APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University has postponed the KTU Exams for the B.Tech Courses. According to the dates provided, the KTU b.Tech examinations were scheduled to commence from July 1, 2020. The revised dates of the postponed examinations will be released on the official website soon.
Candidates who were to appear for the examinations can visit the official website to check the notification. According to the notification provided, the examinations have been postponed for the 8th semester B.Tech Regular and Supplementary Examinations which also includes the part-time candidates.
The University had earlier released a detailed time table for the examinations on June 6, 2020. According to the time table provided, the B.Tech 8th Semester Regular and Supplementary examinations were to be conducted on July 1, 3, and 7, 2020. Along with the time table, the university also released the list of instructions for students and colleges to be followed for the June/July Exam 2020. According to the guidelines issued, the students who will be coming from the containment zones/ hotspot/ other states, etc or have been under quarantine or have minor flu-like symptoms will have to fill a self-declaration form before coming for the examination.
As per the guidelines, the declaration form has to be filled each day of the examination and will have to be submitted at the entrance of the examination centre.
With the COVID-19 lockdown imposed across the country, the universities had postponed the semester examinations. The colleges across the country have been shut since March 2020 which in turn caused the exams to be postponed.
Many of the universities across the country will be conducting the university semester examinations. While some of the institutes will be conducting the semester examinations for the students while the others will be conducting the semester examinations in the online mode.

The University Grants Commission had issued guidelines for the colleges to be followed while conducting the semester examinations. As per the guidelines issued the colleges are required to follow all the necessary sanitization measures to contain the virus and for the safety of the students.
