
Maharashtra RTE Admission 2022: As per the updates, the School Education and Sports Department of the Government of Maharashtra have released the Right to Education or Maharashtra RTE admission 2022 dates. According to the RTE 25% admissions schedule, parents can fill the online application form from 16th February 2022.
They can apply for admission through Maharashtra RTE on the official website - student.maharashtra.gov.in. The school education and sports department of Maharashtra conducts the admission process for 25% of reserved seats in Classes 1 to 8 in Maharashtra schools.

Maharashtra RTE Admission 2022 announcement has been made by State School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad. In an official tweet, she informs everyone that the tentative schedule has been released and parents can now consider applying for these admissions.
"Important Note: The probable schedule of RTE 25% admission process for the academic year 2022-23 has been published. Accordingly, from Wednesday 16th February 2022, parents will be able to fill online application." (translated from Marathi).
How To Apply for Maharashtra RTE Admission 2022?
Earlier, the form filling was supposed to begin from 1st February 2022, however, due to some unavoidable circumstances. To fill the application form of Maharashtra RTE admission, candidates have to visit the official website. Go through the steps to know how to apply -
- Step 1 - Go to the official website of the School education and sports department - student.maharashtra.gov.in
- Step 2 - On the right side of the homepage, click on the link online application.
- Step 3 - Login to the portal by entering the application number, password and captcha.
- Step 4 - Enter the required details, fill out the application form.
- Step 5 - Upload the necessary documents and submit them.
- Step 6 - Take a printout of the application form for future reference.
While filling up the Maharashtra RTE admission form, candidates also need to upload the following documents - address proof, Date of birth certificate, Aadhaar card, Photograph, Caste certificate, Income certificate and Disability certificate.

Maharashtra RTE Admission 2022 are being done like every year. Under this, 25% of seats are reserved in private schools with regards to Right to Education Act. However, these seats are only reserved for students belonging to economically backward sections. The idea behind this is to make education affordable for all students in Maharashtra without any discrimination or financial constraints.
