NEET 2020 Latest News: As per the latest update, Kolkata Metro is planning to run special services on 13th Sept 2020 to ferry medical aspirants who are to appear for the medical entrance test. NEET 2020 aspirants will be allowed to board special Metro Trains by showing their admit card or hall tickets at the entry points. The news has been confirmed by Metro Railway spokesperson Indrani Banerjee, who said that the special services of Kolkata Metro would be run exclusively for medical entrance examinees and their guardians. Entry via Admit Cards

According to the details provided by the Kolkata Metro, aspirants who are to appear for NEET 2020 exam and their accompanying guardians or parents will be allowed to board the special service of metro rail. Candidates will have to show their NEET 2020 admit card at the entry point to be allowed to board the metro. Metro Rail Spokesperson Ms Banerjee also said that "No token will be issued to commuters and only printed card tickets will be issued to the bonafide students and their guardians.”

Metro Trains to run every 15 Minutes

According to the details shared by Kolkata Metro, a total of 66 trains - 33 each in up and down directions, will be operated on 13th Sept 2020 to ferry NEET 2020 aspirants to their exam centres across the city. The trains will operate from two terminal stations, Noapara and Kavi Subhash and will be available between 11 AM to 7 PM. The availability of trains would be at an interval of 15 minutes frequency. This step has been taken by Kolkata Metro after candidates faced a lot of trouble in reaching their exam centres during the JEE Main 2020 exam which was scheduled from 1st to 6th Sept 2020.
