The e-admit cards for the National Talent Search (NTS) have been released by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), Delhi. Candidates appearing for the NTS examination can now download their admit cards from the official website. The NTS examination is scheduled to be held on June 16, 2019 at centres across India. The Stage 2 examination of the National Talent Search (NTS) was earlier scheduled to be held on May 12, 2019. But the examination was then postponed by NCERT due to the Lok Sabha elections. However, all the other details and conditions regarding the examination will remain unchanged.
As per the media reports, 'Successful candidates of Stage 1 examination whose names have been recommended by the states or the union territories may download the e-admit card by visiting the official website.' In case candidates require any assistance or help in downloading the admit card, candidates can contact the designated helpline numbers 011-26560464 and 011- 26592207 or send an email to ntsexam.ncert@gov.in
About the National Talent Search Examination
The National Talent Search Examination is conducted for Class 10th students. The exam is aimed at identifying talent among the young generation. The exam is conducted on a yearly basis, first at the state level and then stage 2 at the national level. Students are awarded scholarships based on merit for different stages of the candidate's education including junior college, undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. levels.
The NTS examination is conducted by the National Council for Educational Research and Training that is an autonomous organisation set up by the Government of India. NCERT was established to assist and advise the Centre and State Government on Policies and programmes for qualitative improvement in School Education.
