PM Narendra Modi addressed the National Conclave on School Education Today at 11 AM. In his address, he discussed the various facets of New National Education Policy 2020 that has been tailored to meet the contemporary needs and challenges of students. Praising the NEP 2020, PM Modi said that the new education policy has the power to usher in the new age of Education in the country and transform the way we learn and educate our students. He also added that “We are all part of a moment that is the future of our nation. The National Education Policy will give new direction to education in the 21st century and is sowing the seed for a new age of education.” PM Modi was speaking at the two-day conclave on ‘school education in the 21st century’ organised by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education.

Discussion on new National Education Policy 2020
According to the schedule shared by the Education Ministry, the conclave will see a lively discussion on the new National Education Policy 2020 that was recently unveiled and got approval of the Cabinet. As part of the two day conclave, the Education Ministry has invited a panel of experts from a variety of fields discuss and “demystify some of the important themes of NEP” for school education. The conclave will also see panellists review and assess the suggestions put forth by teachers and educators from across the country via the MyGov portal on the New Education Policy 2020.
