The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education has released the revised syllabus for the class 9 to 12 examinations scheduled to be conducted  in 2021. Candidates appearing for the 2021 board examinations can visit the official website of the board to check the revised syllabus.

Rajasthan Revised Syllabus 2021: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has released the revised syllabus for the class 9 to 12 examinations scheduled to be conducted in 2021. According to the notification provided on the official website, the board has reduced the syllabus for class 9 to 12 students due to the COVID-19 pandemic which has forced school closures in the state and forced schools to adopt online classes as the preferred teaching method.

The notification states that the examination syllabus has been reduced by 40 percent for the students for theory aspects. On similar lines, teachers have also been given the freedom to reduce the syllabus for practical exams by 40 percent based on the resources available.

Rajasthan Board syllabus has been revised for the students keeping in mind the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown due to which schools have not been able to conduct classes for the students since March 200. The classes are being conducted for the students in the online mode. 

Since March 2020, schools across the Rajasthan state have been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown that was announced to curb its spread. Taking into account the safety and health of the students, schools have shifted to online teaching and virtual classes as a medium of instruction. In such a scenario, the revised syllabus will help reduce the burden on students and teachers about the completion of the curriculum.

Reports indicate that the revised syllabus includes the names and potions from the syllabus for the different classes which have been omitted for the final exams scheduled to be conducted in March 2021.

School Reopening

The central government in its recent guidelines issued has stated that the schools can reopen from September 2020 partially. The schools have been reopened partially for the students from class 10 to 12 who are allowed to visit the schools for doubt clearing sessions with the teachers.

The government further added that the school in the individual states can reopen after considering and analyzing the situation pertaining to the COVID-19 cases in the respective states.
