The news has been confirmed with an official notification uploaded on the official result website of the board i.e. tnresults.nic.in. The TN SSLC result 2019 will be first announced officially by the Board officials before publishing it online on the website. A total of 7091 centres were allotted for conducting the board exam this year. The Board also ascertained 691 routes through which question papers were carried to the exam centres to prevent the paper leak. The answer sheets of the Students were transported to the control rooms through the same routes. The number of private school teachers employed in the examination process was also reduced by DGE. From earlier 50,000, the number was drastically reduced to 2,000 for language and English exams.
The exam was held from 14th March to 29th March. As per the schedule, the exam was held in two shifts. The forenoon shift of the exam commenced at 10 am and ended at 2 pm while the afternoon session was conducted from 12.45 pm till 4.45 pm. The afternoon session of the exam was introduced for the first time. The hall tickets were released in the month of February.
