
According to media reports, the schools of UP Board will receive the 2020 class 10 and 12 examinations admit card by January 31, 2020. Media reports have stated that all the admit cards along with the examination attendance format, list of examinees to appear for the different examination centres will be provided to the office of the district inspector of schools (DIOS) in all the districts by January 25, 2020. Following this, the admit cards will be provided in all the schools by January 31, 2020.
UP Board secretary Neena Srivastava has stated that the schools will distribute the admit cards for the students in the first week of February 2020. The secretary has also stated that the board has issued the directives to the DIOS in the state.
The upcoming UP Board class 10 and board examinations which are scheduled to be conducted from February 18, 2020, will be held at close to 7786 examination centres in the state. It is estimated that close to 56, 01, 034 students have registered for the UP Board class 10 and 12 board examinations of which 30, 33, 961 students have registered for the high school board examinations while 25, 67, 073 students have registered for the intermediate examinations.
In order to ensure avoiding instances of cheating in the examinations, the UP Board has installed CCTV cameras, Voice recorders, router, and broadband facilities in each of the examination centres in the state.
Apart from these, a hitech control room is also likely to be set up in the Education Directorate, Lucknow for monitoring for which special training will be provided to the team of officials of the departments which are entrusted with the task of monitoring the examinations.
