CBSE Term 1 Result 2022: As per media reports, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the class 10 and class 12 term 1 results by next week. While there has been no official announcements by CBSE about class 10th and 12th Result 2021 for the Term 1 Exams held in December 2021. Students can check their results on the official website, i.e., cbse.gov.in. once the result is out. 

As of now, no confirmed date is available for CBSE Term 1 Results 2021, but sources close to the CBSE Board have hinted that the Class 10 and Class 12 Results for Term 1 Exam will be announced by 15^th January 2022. There is also no clarity if the board results would be provided online or shared with respective schools for further notification.

Mid-way Change in Exam Evaluation Policy

Before the CBSE Term 1 Exams began, the board had announced that the CBSE Term 1 Exam Results will be announced ‘soon after’. However, during the exam, following allegations of cheating and malpractices, the evaluation policy was changed by the Board. Earlier, the board had instructed schools to complete evaluation of all the answer sheets for CBSE Term 1 Exam 2022 on the same day, within a few hours of the completion of the exam. Following this, marks for students were to be uploaded on the CBSE Result server on the same day. However, this was changed mid-way through the exam, which may cause some delay in CBSE 10^th and 12^th Term 1 Result 2022.

Moderation and Correction of Results

While the mid-way in evaluation policy for CBSE Term 1 Exam 2022 can be one reason, but many experts say that at max it would take around 5-6 additional days for external assessment to be completed. Therefore, it might not be the only reason for delay in CBSE Term 1 Results. However, following the evaluation and uploading of marks, the board would also have to complete post evaluation work i.e. moderation and corrections in the result. During the exam, a few questions for some subjects were either cancelled or corrected; taking these into account in the final marks tally would also take some time for processing of CBSE Result 2022 Data.

Term 1 Result Scorecards to Only Contain Marks

Students should note that for CBSE Term 1 Exam Results 2022, they would only be getting their scorecards i.e. subject-wise marks secured by them in the exam. The official marksheet and passing certificate for CBSE 10^th and 12^th Result 2021 for Term 1 Exam will not be issued by the board right now. One of the sources close to the CBSE Result Processing work also informed that for this to be done, the a few technical changes are to be implemented in the result framework, which may lead to addition of a couple of days to the CBSE Result 2022 Term 1 Declaration Date.
