As per the formalities set down by the central regulating authorities, the Uttar Pradesh government will conduct Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2017 that is also known as Uttar Pradesh TET. Uttar Pradesh TET is conducted for those candidates who are aspiring to become teachers in primary (class I -V) and in upper primary (VI-VIII) schools in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Teachers are the root of the educational society and it is important for the teachers themselves to be well qualified
UPTET 2016 notification is released by the Department of School Education, Uttar Pradesh OR concerned examination board as directed by the Uttar Pradesh state Government. TET 2017 is a compulsory examination for all the B.Ed. qualified candidates in order for them to be considered for teacher jobs in those schools that are run by the government as well as private managements. Candidates may be further facilitated to apply online for this particular examination. Below are the details of the UPTET 2017 Examination.
UPTET Syllabus contains two objective type question papers that are to be solved by the candidates. Each paper further consists of 150 MCQs and each question carries 1 marks aggregating for 150 marks.
Each year, around 5 lakhs students of Uttar Pradesh appear for the UPTET exam. An UPTET candidate who is able to score 60% or more in Uttar Pradesh TET exam 2017 the exam will be considered as UPTET pass.
Uttar Pradesh Government considers giving concessions to candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons and those falling in other categories completely in accordance with their extant reservation policy of Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2017.
UPTET 2017 result caters to the teacher recruitment process; however, it is important to keep in mind that only qualifying the UPTET candidates would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for the job appointment.
UPTET Exam Result 2016 will be released in one or two months after the exam is completed. In order to check the results you have to enter your registered roll number and password in the official website of UPTET i.e http://upbasiceduboard.gov.in/ . Candidates need to enter their set Number so that they can easily check their answers apart from the UPTET Results 2016. Once, if a candidate has qualified the written exam he/she is eligible to appear for the final round of Interview.
