1027 Group 2 Posts Open for recruitment under Telangana government

Telangana State Public Service Commission will recruit 1027 candidates in group II posts of different departments instead of the earlier 434 posts. The finance department has nodded for the recruitment after getting details for additional recruitment of 593 candidates in the group II posts from various state departments.

The recruitment notification for 434 group II posts was already posted by the Telangana Public Service Commission for which about 5.6 lakh candidates have already applied. The examination for these posts was supposed to take place at different examination centres across the state in the month of April. But, due to the demand for more number of posts from various student unions and political parties, the examination got postponed. Telangana government came up with another 593 posts to make a total recruitment of 1027 group II posts.

Out of the total number of newly added 593 posts, 259 posts are of deputy tehsildars, 90 assistant section officers in general administration department, 28 ASO in finance department, 10 ASOs in law department, 62 assistant registrars in cooperative societies department, 46 assistant commercial tax officers, 64 sub-inspectors in prohibition and excise department and 11 executive officers (Grade I) in the endowment department.

The examination is expected to get conducted within the span of next three months. The new examination will combine the last recruitment and the latest one, to conduct an overall examination for the 1027 group II posts in the state.
