Admissions to BITS Pilani in MBA PhD Programs 2013

Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani is a premier institute of higher education and a deemed University. BITS Pilani offers admissions to PhD Programs (for 2^nd Semester 2012-13) in Management at Goa and Hyderabad campuses

Important Date:

• Last date to submit application form: 10 December 2012 till 5 pm
• Date for declaring list of Shortlisted candidates: 15 December 2012
• Date of test/ Interview: 4 January 2012
• Semester begins: 7 January 2012

Eligibility Criteria:

• Aspirants must have an MBA degree with at least 60% marks to apply for the PhD program.
• Candidate can also be sponsored for PhD under ‘Aspirants Scheme’ by companies collaborating with Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani.

Selection Procedure:

1. Initial Screening by Panel on the basis of qualifications
2. A Written Case Analysis of one hour
3. Group Discussion and Personal Interview
   

Assistantship/ Scholarship:

Candidates admitted to the PhD programs will also be considered for Project/ Research Assistantships.

An amount of Rs 10,000 to Rs 14,000 per month or more in addition to tuition fee waiver of up to 80% will be paid. Participation in teaching and other developmental programs of the institute under the guidance of a mentor will be mandatory for these candidates.

Application Fee:

Applicants will have to pay an amount of Rs 1600/- as the application fee.
