In case of a tie, AIIMS follows specific tie-breaking rules. These may include subject marks and age criteria. Official rules are mentioned below:

(i) First, by using the date of birth, older candidates are placed higher.
(ii) If not resolved by (i), the number of wrong answers/negative marks will be used, wherein those with fewer wrong answers/negative marks will be placed higher

There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks in the AIIMS NORCET 10 exam for each wrong answer. Keep this marking scheme in mind while calculating the marks.
