Detailed list of candidates, performing outstanding in academics and those from weak financial family backgrounds has been called by the Educational Institutions. This step is taken to make sure deserving students obtain the benefits of government scholarships.
Atal Kumar Rai , chief development officer laid stress on this process attempting to gather and give chance to all the eligible students to be able to procure the post-matric scholarships as well as fee reimbursement.
Chief Development Officer also stated that deprived and financially weak students must be aided with monetary assistance in order to uplift their education and make them meet their career goals, this was talked during the meeting which was attended by various Registrars of Universities along with heads of educational organisations that held at Sangam Gallery.
He further added that institutes are responsible to make sure that all eligible candidates are helped to apply for the scholarships online. He spoke of the state government's directive, that states that an eligible student or candidate shall fill the prearranged scholarship form using internet prior to December 31, 2013.
The candidate must fill the form online, and submit the printed form to the concerned institution within 7 days of the last date. Followed by that educational institution confirming and authenticating the data filled in the forms by students by January 20, 2014. Besides, the educational institution must acquire its respective login id and password by contacting the social welfare officer.
Confirming the authentication of received application form, an SMS will be sent to student’s mobile. The scholarship scheme detailed information can be obtained by the interested students from the official website: http://scholarship.up.nic.in
