2.4 Lakh engineering seats are as of now, available in the convener’s quota, amongst which 2.07 lakh students qualified in the EAMCET in 2012. In the year 2012, more than one lakh seats were left vacant after three rounds of counseling for admissions across Andhra Pradesh.
In a petition filed by both the students and the Telengana Professional Colleges Managements Association, it has been contended that there is a huge change in the circumstances when plan to conduct the entrance examination.
Around, thirty three thousand seats will be vacant along with another 1,34,446 seats that are available in the management quota of which over one seats are left vacant.
The government of Andhra Pradesh recently announced schedules for all the seven entrance examinations that are to be held here in the state.
