Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation or APSRTC is the state owned road transport corporation in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is acknowledged as the single corporation having the largest fleet in the world. It invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Deputy Superintendent.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Must possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Department of Technical Education of Government of AP, Distant mode equivalent qualification approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) or Graduate from any University Recognized by University Grants Commission.
• Must possess one year Diploma in Material Management/ Stores Management recognized by Department of HRD, Government of India, or Recognized University.

Age Limit (as on 1 July 2011): Maximum 25 years

Application Fee: Application fee along with examination fee for General category candidate is Rs 400 and only application fee of Rs 200 is to be paid by SC/ ST/ BC/ Ex- Serviceman/ Departmental candidates.

Selection Procedure: Based on objective type written test and Interview, Weightage marks for (a) Marks in qualifying degree (b) Higher Qualification (c) Achievement in NCC/ Sports. Only those who rank high in the written test would be called for interview community wise.
