Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10th Class examination or an equivalent examination; AND Must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering awarded by the AP Board of Technical Education or ISE Diploma or an equivalent qualification OR Must have passed Draughtsmanship (Civil) course under the revised syllabus introduced from July, 1952 conducted by the Government of India or pass in Draughtsman Civil Course conducted by the industrial Training Institute, Government of AP with experience in drawing and designing for a period of not less than one year in Town Planning department, or a local authority or public works Department or Town Planning Trust or urban Development Authority; OR Must have passed All India Trade Test for Surveyor course conducted by the Industrial Training Institute, Government of AP with experience in Town Planning or Engineering or Survey for a period of not less than one year.
Note: A pass in the AP Examination in the certificate or Architecture in new Rules and a pass in Government Examination or certificate in Architectural Draughtsman and Assistantship will be considered equivalent to Licentiate in Architecture Apprenticeship in the case of the present incumbents.
- Age Limit (as on 1 July 2012): Minimum 18 years Maximum 36 years
Pay Scale: Rs 9460 - 27700
Selection Procedure: The final selection will be based on the written examination (Objective Type) conducted by the commission.

Application Fee: Each applicant must pay Rs 100 towards Application Processing Fee and Examination Fee Rs 80 (if Candidates are not exempted from payment of Fee). Payment of Rs 100 (Rupees One Hundred Only) towards application processing fee is compulsory for all Applicants.
The Applicant should pay the prescribed Fee in any one of the AP Online centres/ State Bank of India and obtain Fee paid Challan with Journal Number in the first instance.
