Eligibility Criteria for Inspector of Legal Metrology and Other Posts Job

Educational Qualification:

• Inspector of Legal Metrology under Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Deptt- A candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics as one of the subjects or in Engineering
• Preservation Officer in the office of the Director of Historical and Antiquarian Studies, Assam under Higher Education (Tech.) Deptt. (Re-Advertisement)- Graduate in Arts/Science preferably Major in History/Chemistry from a University or Institution recognized by the Govt. Diploma in two courses in “Care and Conservation” of books/Manuscripts from a recognized Institute/University. Certificate in Archives Administration or Record management, preferably Archives Administration from a recognized Institute/University.
• Lecturer in Graphics in the Govt. College of Arts & Crafts, under Cultural Affairs Deptt.- At least 55% marks in Master of Fine Arts in Graphics from a recognized University and as per Norms set up by G.U / U.G.C preference should be given to those who qualified in U.G.C NET or SLET
• Director of Economics & Statistics under Planning & Development Deptt- At least 2^nd class Master Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics from a recognized University or its equivalent. Or Degree of a recognized University with Mathematics, Statistics, Economics as a subject and a diploma recognized by Govt. obtained after at least two years Post Graduate Training in Statistics.

• Inspector of Legal Metrology under Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Deptt-Minimum 21 years and Maximum 43 Years
• Preservation Officer in the office of the Director of Historical and Antiquarian Studies, Assam under Higher Education (Tech.) Deptt. (Re-Advertisement)- Minimum 21 years and Maximum 43 Years
• Lecturer in Graphics in the Govt. College of Arts & Crafts, under Cultural Affairs Deptt.- Minimum 21 years and Maximum 43 Years
• Director of Economics & Statistics under Planning & Development Deptt- Minimum 35 years and Maximum 45 Years
