Educational Qualification

• Cook: The candidates must be Matriculation passed and should have knowledge of basic principles of Indian cooking.
• Washerman: The candidates must be Matriculation passed and should be able to wash Military/Civilian clothes properly.
• Equipment Boot Repairer(EBR): The candidates must be Matriculation passed and should be able to carry out canvas/textile item repairs, replacement of equipment and boots.
• Groom: The candidates must be Matriculation passed and should be conversant with their duties along with one year experience in the trade.
• Messenger: The candidates must be Matriculation passed and should be conversant with their duties along with one year experience in the trade.

Pay Scale

• Cook: Rs. 5200- 20200/- Plus Allowances (Grade Pay: 1900)
• Washerman: Rs. 5200-20200/- Plus Allowances (Grade Pay: 1800)
• Equipment Boot Repairer(EBR): Rs. 5200-20200/-Plus Allowances (Grade Pay: 1800)
• Groom: Rs. 5200-20200/- Plus Allowances (Grade Pay: 1800)
• Messenger: Rs. 5200-20200/- Plus Allowances (Grade Pay: 1800)

Age Limit: 18-25 Years (Applicable for all posts)

• The relaxation in age for SC/ST candidates is 5 years
• The relaxation in age for OBC candidates is 3 years

How to Apply

• Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format filling out the given application form.
• Along with duly filled application form the candidates need to affix two passport size photographs duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. The candidates need to include attested copies of educational qualification certificates, birth certificate and caste certificate (if applicable) in their application envelope.
• The candidates need to enclose a self-addressed envelope with postal stamps of Rs. 22/- affixed on it and send the application to “The Commandant, Army Service Corps Centre(North), Agram Post, Bangalore- 560007” within 21 days of the publication of the advertisement.
• The candidates should mark the envelope with words “Application for the post of ______” containing the application copy.

Selection Process

• Candidates have to go through written test, aptitude test and interview to be held at ASC Centre (North), Bangalore. Acknowledgement cards would be issued to candidates applying for the posts.
• No TA/DA would be provided to the candidates for the aptitude test/ Interview scheduled at ASC Centre (North), Bangalore.
