Art exhibition 'Laavanya' organized at Mangalayatan University

The Art exhibition 'Laavanya' was organized by the Department of Visual Art of Mangalayatan University. On this occasion, the students received considerable appreciation for innovative experiments with themes and colours.

Exhibition was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof. KVSM Krishna. BFA, M.F.A and Applied Arts students participated in this exhibition. Amongst the first year students,Priya, Pradip, Shrishti, Abhishek and Deepak participated in the exhibition. Third year students Madhuri, Himani, Mohini Maheshwari, Anushka Sharma, Shrishti Jain and K. Ananal Rauta were also the active participants. The students of M.F.A. painting, Uday and Raj of Applied Arts also took part in the exhibition. After the observation of the exhibition, the Vice Chancellor appreciated the students' efforts and motivated them to participate in national and international level competitions. Registrar Prof. Shivaji Sarkar stressed the need to save art. Prof. Jayanti Lal Jain,-Head of Depatment (Visual Art), Dr. Poonam Rani, Devshis Chakraborty, Bilas Phalke, Premlata Yadav, Diksha Yadav etc. were among the many teachers who participated in the exhibition.
