Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank issued notification for recruitment to 17 posts of Officer Scale II, Officer Scale I and Office Assistant (Multi Purpose). Interested candidates, who have qualified the RRBs-Common Written exam conducted by IBPS in September 2012, can apply online through the Bank’s website till 31 May 2013.

[Age will be reckoned as on 1 June 2012. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates, by 5 years for SC / ST candidates and by 10 years for PWD candidates. The relaxation is cumulative.]

Candidates applying should have obtained the specified Total Weighted Standard Score as well as score in each test in the RRBs- Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS in September 2012.

Candidates should be proficient in the Official Language of the State / UT in which RRB is located and must have passed “English” as one of the subjects at Matriculation / Xth Standard

Probation Period: Selected candidates will be on probation for

(a) Officer Scale-II & Officer Scale-I: 2 years;

(b) Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 1 year;

Note: Persons with Disabilities will have to work in Branches/Offices which have posts identified suitable for them.

Application Fee: Non-refundable application fees / intimation charges is required to be paid through CBS at any branch of Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank, by means of fee payment challan available on the Bank’s website

The CBS fee payment challan is divided into two parts: Bank’s copy and Candidate’s copy. Bank will retain the Bank’s copy of the fee payment challan and return the candidate’s copy of the challan after filling in necessary details like Transaction ID; Branch Code etc. Candidates should retain candidate’s copy of the challan for future reference.

Candidates have to remit the fees in any branch of APRB, in cash, in CBS account no ‘28999804269’ for “Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank Recruitment Project” of Naharlagun Branch

Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in RRBs- Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview

Merit list for final selection will be prepared on the basis of the Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by the candidates in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview.

 Personal Interview: Depending on the number of vacancies, Bank will call candidates, three times the number of vacancies, short-listed on the basis of their Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS). The maximum marks for Interview will be 30. The Interview will be held at Naharlagun /Itanagar and the complete address of the venue will be advised in the call letters and also displayed in the Bank’s website one week before the commencement of Interview.

Call letters for Interview will be sent to all eligible candidates by post/ courier at the address given by the candidates in their application form. Candidate will be required to affix their photograph on the call letter and bring it along with original fee payment receipt and requisite enclosures while attending the Interview without which they will not be allowed to take up the Interview and their candidature will be cancelled.

Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their being declared medically fit. Such appointment will also be subject to the Service & Conduct Rules of the Bank.

Travel Allowance: Candidates will have to appear for Interview at their own expense. However, unemployed eligible SC / ST outstation candidates attending the Interview will be reimbursed to and fro second class ordinary train / bus fare by the shortest route on production of evidence of travel.

Surety Bond: Selected candidates will be required to execute a surety bond of Rs.1 lakh for serving the Bank for a minimum period of one year. In case a candidate leaves the bank’s job on their own, within a period of One Year from the date of joining services of the Bank, he / she will pay to the bank a sum of Rs.1. lakh.

How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should apply online through Bank’s website  till 31 May 2013. Candidates will find the online application form under the recruitment section. They should fill the form, submit it.

Before filling the form, candidates should take a printout of the fee payment challan and deposit the fees in any branch of Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank.

After depositing the fees, candidates should relogin, fill in the form with all details including fee payment details like journal no, transaction no etc and deposit the form. On successful submission of the online application form, candidates should take its printout and retain it for future reference. 

Candidates are required to carry all the documents, fee payment receipt (Challan copy) and Print out of online submitted application, in original as well as one set of photocopy, if called for Interview. Original fee payment receipt will have to be submitted with the Call Letter at the time of Interview. Candidates are also advised to keep a photocopy of the fee payment challan with along with them.

Candidates should keep their personal email ID (used while applying for RRBs- CWE) active during the recruitment process as the Bank will send call letters for Interview etc. at this e-mail ID only.
Candidate willing to serve anywhere in the operational area of the bank should only apply.
