Assam HS 1st Year Maths Syllabus: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has released the revised Mathematics syllabus for higher secondary first year course. The board has restructured the syllabus into five main units to provide a comprehensive understanding of mathematical concepts.
The Assam Class 11 Maths Syllabus for the 2024-2025 academic session covers five main units:
- Sets and Functions
- Algebra
- Coordinate Geometry
- Calculus
- Statistics and Probability
The syllabus focuses on core topics like sets, relations, functions, trigonometry, complex numbers, permutations, combinations, conic sections, limits, derivatives, and probability. The curriculum also emphasizes mathematical modeling and real-life applications.
Students must analyze the complete syllabus not only to understand the depth of the course content but also to know the marks distribution across topics and the examination pattern. Check and download the detailed syllabus below.

2.Mathematical Modelling :
Consolidating the understanding developed up to Class X. Focus on modelling problems relatedto real-life (like environment, travel, etc.) and connecting with other subjects of study where many constraints may really need to be ignored, formulating the model, looking for solutions, interpreting them in the problem situation and evaluating the model.
