Assam Teacher Recruitment 2024: The Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam has started accepting online applications for the recruitment of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), and Post-Graduate Teachers (PGT). Assam TGT PGT Recruitment 2024 Eligibility

Candidates applying for the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) posts must have completed their bachelor's or master’s degree with at least 50% marks, along with a B.Ed. degree. For the Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) positions, applicants are required to hold a master’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks to be eligible.

Step 2: Navigate to the ‘TET’ section located at the bottom right of the homepage.

Step 3: Click on the link titled ‘Online application for the recruitment of TGT/PGT candidates.’ You will be directed to a new page with a registration form. Select ‘Registration Form’ to proceed.

Step 4: If you are already registered, log in directly and start filling in all the details.

Step 5: Upload the necessary documents such as photograph, signature, educational qualification certificates and more. 

Step 6: After completing the form, pay the required fee and submit it. Take a print out for future reference.

Assam TGT PGT Application Fee 2024

The application fee for the Assam Teacher Recruitment varies based on the candidate's category. Applicants belonging to the General (UR) category are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 500. Meanwhile, candidates from reserved categories, including SC, ST, OBC, OBC,and other eligible categories, need to pay a reduced fee of Rs. 350.

The selection process for Assam Teacher Recruitment involves three stages: a written exam, an interview, and document verification.
