Assistant Professors Recruitment in Kumaun University

Kumaun University was established in 1973 and currently has three campuses at Almora, Nainital and Bhimtal. It invited applications from eligible aspirants for the recruitment to the 25 posts of Assistant Professors in 21 subjects.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates who wish to apply should possess good academic record at the Master’s Degree level from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from accredited foreign University M Tech/ PhD with desired experience as per the post.

Selection Process

Applicants who fulfil eligibility criteria will be called for an interview by the institute.

How to Apply

Aspirants can get the application form from the office of the Registrar or download it from the website, fill the form and send it along with attested copies of relevant documents, photos etc as mentioned in the notification to the Registrar, Kumaun University, Nainital (Uttarakhand).

Application Fee: Rs 1000 (Rs 1050 if application form is delivered via post by the University) for General and OBC Category candidates and Rs 500 (Rs 550 if if application form is delivered via post by the University) for SC and ST Category candidates. The fee can either be paid using cash or through Demand Draft in favour of Finance Officer, Kumaun University, paybale at Nainital.

Note: The candidates having domicile certificate of Uttarakhand will only be considered under reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) as per The Uttarakhand Govt. Policy.
