Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is a state-owned electronics company with about nine factories, and few regional offices in India. It primarily manufactures advanced electronic products for the Indian Armed Forces. It invites application from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Probationary Engineers and Probationary Officers across various domains.

Eligibility Criteria for recruitment in BEL

Educational Qualification

  • Probationary Engineers: Pass in BE/ BTech/ BSc Engineering Graduate from AICTE approved Colleges in Electronics/ Electronics and Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Communication/ Telecommunication/ Mechanical/ Computer Science/ Computer Science and Engineering. Candidates with first class in AMIE / GIETE, in the above disciplines are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit (as on 1 May 2012): Maximum 30 years

Pay Scale: Candidates selected against the above position, will be placed in E-II grade, at the minimum of the pay scale of Rs 16400-3%-40500. In addition, they will be entitled to DA, HRA, Conveyance Allowance, Performance Related Pay, Medical Reimbursement and other perquisites as admissible.

Selection Procedure for recruitment in BEL: The candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria will have to go through written test and interview. The written test will be held at Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Guwahati centres.

The written test will consist of Objective type questions from basic Engineering subjects/HR subjects, in the respective disciplines/ specialisations and General Aptitude. Candidates selected in the written test will be required to appear for an interview for final selection. The results of selection will be available on the BEL website through query mode.
