1. Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi – It hardly happens that in presence of an IIM nearby any other MBA institute is ranked over and above it. It is the first B-school that came up with full time MBA program and is the only business school of Delhi University. 2. IIM Lucknow – The Indian Government established the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow in 1984, with the vision of making it equivalent to national level schools of management. Situated on the outskirts of Lucknow, it is the fourth addition to the IIM family. It is first IIM to operate from two campuses – one from Lucknow and the other from NOIDA. The entrance criterion remains the same as is for all other IIMs – the CAT exam.
3. Management Development Institute (MDI) – Established in 1973, the Management Development Institute is located in Gurgaon. Since its inception, this institute has been consistently ranked among the top MBA colleges across India and often among the top five. The Industrial Finance Corporation of India played a major role in bringing the concept of a new business school to reality in the form of MDI. 
4. Indian Institute of Foreign Trade – IIFT is another business school of Delhi among the best top MBA colleges. Set up in 1963, it is an independent organization. It was established with a vision of professionalizing the foreign trade of India and developing human resources to add to the exports of the country. However, today it is known as one of the best business schools in North India. IIFT has taken up research programs with International organizations like Ministry of Commerce and Industry, UNCTAD, World Bank and WTO.
5. Institute of Management Technology – Nobody would have thought that one of the top-rated MBA programs could be found in Ghaziabad and the venture of IMT Ghaziabad has changed the perception of many. IMT Ghaziabad bags its position in the list of top MBA colleges mainly due to its outstanding infrastructure, phenomenal faculty members and the quality of courses being offered.
