Miranda House pioneered science education for women at the University of Delhi when it started its B.Sc. Honours (Botany) course in 1948. Lady Shri Ram College for Women, has long been recognized as a premier institution of higher learning for women in India. A centre for academic excellence and achievement, it is today one of the finest institutions for Social Sciences, Humanities and Commerce, while also offering a B.Sc. Programme in Statistics. Established in 1924, in the movement of nationalist philanthropists for women’s education in Delhi, housed in a heritage building, marching towards its centenary, the College is proudly aware of its glorious history and tradition. The institution is the oldest women’s college of the University of Delhi. The College offers a wide range of courses, which promotes interdisciplinary studies in the 3 streams of Humanities, Mathematical Sciences and Commerce. Two new courses, B.A. (Hons.) Sociology and B.A. (Hons.) Geography, will commence from the academic session July 2017. Uniquely, the College offers the Self-Financed BA (Hons) in Multimedia and Mass Communication (BMMMC). Jesus and Mary College

Jesus and Mary College was founded in July 1968 as a constituent college of the University of Delhi. The College opened with one department offering English (Hons) and B.A.(Pass) Courses with an enrolment of 116 students. While full time under graduate programs and the post graduate programs in English and in Hindi are the main courses offered by the college, it is also the Centre for part time and distance learning programs offered by the Non Collegiate Women Education Board and the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Jesus and Mary College also offers short term certificate programs for its students to prepare them for vocational and professional life.
Daulat Ram College

Daulat Ram College, one of the leading colleges of University of Delhi, imparts education towards degree at the Bachelor's level in Arts, Science and Commerce. It has seven departments, which enroll students at the Masters level and hold MA tutorials that supplement the classes.
