Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot invited applications for recruitment to 21 posts on Regular/ Adhoc/ Contract basis in the University/ constituent colleges of the University. 1. Junior Engineer (Electronics): 1 post

Qualifications: Diploma in Electronics+ One year relevant work experience.

2. Telephone Operator: 2 posts

Qualifications: Graduation in any stream+ 3 years relevant work experience.

3. Hardware Technician: 1 post

Qualifications: Graduate in any stream+ Diploma of Hardware & Networking+ One year relevant work experience.  

4. Library Restorer: 3 posts

Qualifications: (10+2) in any stream+ Diploma in Library Science+ 2 years relevant work experience.

Vacancies with University Works Department: 7 posts

5. Executive Engineer: 1 post

Qualifications: retired from PWD (B&R) as XEN or SDE Civil+ minimum 8 years relevant work experience.

6. Plumber: 1 post

Qualifications: Matriculation+ Diploma in Plumber/ Fitter+ 2 years relevant work experience.

7. Electrician: 2 posts

Qualifications: Matriculation+ Diploma in Electrician + Five years relevant work experience.

8. Welder: 1 post

Qualifications: Matriculation or equivalent+ Certificate in Welding Trade.

9. Liftman: 1 post

Remuneration: Rs.6000 per month

Qualifications: Matriculation or equivalent+ Two year experience of operating lift;

10.  Carpenter: 1 post

Qualifications: Matriculation or equivalent+ passed Competency Test in basic wood work+ 4 years relevant work experience.

11. Care taker-cum- Supervisor: 1 post

Qualifications: Graduate in any stream+ Two years relevant work experience.

12. Junior Technician Workshop: 1 post

Qualifications: (10+2) with Auto Technician+ Diploma in concerned subject+ Four years relevant work experience.

13. Statistician-cum- Assistant Professor: 1 post

Qualifications: As per MCI norms

14. Non-Invasive Cardiology Assistant: 2 posts

Qualifications: Graduation in any stream+ at least 3 years work experience under Cardiologist in Non Invasive Cardiology (Echo, TMT, Holter)

15. Pharmacist Grade-II: 2 posts

Qualifications: (10+2) with Science+ 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy+ Five years relevant work experience.

All Candidates applying must have passed Punjabi Examination upto Matric level or equivalent.

Age limit: (as on 8 July 2014)

i) For posts at Sr.No. 5: 65 years

ii) For remaining posts: 38 years

Application fees:  Non-refundable application fee is to be paid through a crossed demand draft drawn in favour of ‘The Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot’ payable at Faridkot.

Amount of fees to be paid:

i) For posts at Sr.No. 5, 13: Rs. 1500 (Rs.750 for SC/ ST candidates)

ii) For remaining posts: Rs.500 (Rs.250 for SC/ ST candidates)
