Burdwan Development Authority invited applications from candidates for recruitment to 06 posts of Assistant Engineer, Assistant Town Planner, Junior Assistant Town Planner, Surveyor & Draftsman. Interested candidates may appear with all original documents/ testimonials to walk-in interview on 17, 18 & 19 December 2014.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Assistant Engineer: Candidate should have bachelor degree in civil engineering with a minimum of 60 % marks and must have a thorough knowledge of AutoCAD, STAAD and MS-Office.

2. Assistant Town Planner: Candidate should have post graduate degree in urban/town/city/regional/country planning and bachelor’s degree in architecture/civil engineering with a minimum of 60 % marks. Must also have knowledge of AutoCAD, 3-D modelling software, Adobe Photoshop and MS Office.

3. Junior Assistant Town Planner: Candidate should have bachelor’s degree in architecture/civil engineering/urban/town/city/regional/country planning with a minimum of 60 % marks. Must also have knowledge of AutoCAD, 3-D modelling software, Adobe Photoshop and MS Office.

4. Surveyor: Candidate should have passed class 10th and have diploma in survey engineering from West Bengal Survey Institute. Knowledge of MS-Office, AutoCAD, working of total-station and theodolite is also required.

5. Draftsman: Candidate should have passed class 10th and have diploma in draftsmanship from NCYT accredited institution. Candidate is also required to have a knowledge in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Age Limit
18 years— 40 years as on 1 January 2015

Pay scale

1. Assistant Engineer: Rs 28000

2. Assistant Town Planner: Rs 28000

3. Junior Assistant Town Planner: Rs 15000

4. Surveyor: Rs 12000

5. Draftsman: Rs 12000
