CBSE is organising the Expression Series on Swami Vivekananda to commemorate the birthday of this great Hindu monk and an inspiration to the youth, on 12th January, 2015 which is also celebrated as ‘The National Youth Day’. Interested students of classes VIII-XII can submit their entries with essays (1000 words)/paintings/ poems in any of the 22 scheduled languages or English.
Swami Vivekananda (12th January 1863- 4th July 1902) was a Hindu Brahmachari and a monk, who was the pioneer to introduce the authentically Indian philosophies of Yoga and Vedanta to the rest of the world. He brought an awakening in contemporary India by his thoughts on Education, Motivation, Dedication, Life-goal and Knowledge.
The students are required to submit their entries on 12 January 2015 from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm.

Best 36 entries shall be given a cash prize of Rs 2500/- and a certificate of merit. All participants with valid e-mail ID shall be given an online participation certificate.
