    As every student is aware of the new assessment scheme introduced in CBSE Class 10 from current academic session, i.e., 2017-2018, they must be preparing hard for the coming board exams. Unlike the previous assessment structure, they have a challenge to prepare full syllabus for the annual assessment, i.e., CBSE board exams 2018. So they must follow a smart and strategic study technique following which they are able to prepare full syallabus of each subject and then start revisions for the same before the CBSE board exams commence.     CBSE Class 10 New Assessment Structure 2017- 2018

    This year, students will have to take the exam which will have an entirely changed structure for each subject as compared to the previous years’ exam pattern. CBSE has released the sample papers for all important subjects of class 10, to give an idea of the examination pattern to be followed in Class 10 Board Exams 2018.

    CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2017-18: Preparation strategy for changed exam structure

    Reintroduction of CBSE Class 10 Board Exams:

    With the reintroduction of mandatory board exams in CBSE Class 10, a major change brought to the assessment scheme is that the CBSE board will conduct the class 10 exams of 80 marks for each subject. This board exam will cover the100% syllabus. Other 20 marks are kept with schools for internal assessment (IA).

    IA comprises:

    • Periodic Tests (PT) with weightage of 10 marks each
    • Notebook Submission of 5 marks
    • Subject Enrichment Activities of 5 marks.
