Especially, when it comes to the CBSE Board Exams, students should be very clear with their exam pattern, question paper format and other relevant information. This would help them in making effective and active exam preparations that would ultimately help them get rid of the intense exam stress.

In this article, we will discuss the examination pattern of CBSE Class 10 Hindi (Course A) which is one of the important subjects in class 10. You will get to know about the paper pattern, format of questions and other major details that are important for CBSE Class 10 Hindi A Term 1 Exam preparations.

CBSE Class 10 Hindi A Term 1 Exam 2021-22 will of total 50 marks with the following breakup:

  • CBSE Class 10 Hindi A Theory Paper - 40 Marks
  • CBSE Class 10 Hindi A Internal Assessment - 10 Marks

Like all the major papers, CBSE Class 10 Hindi A Paper will also have MCQs only. The format of the paper will be as follows:

  • There will be total 10 questions divided into three sections; A, B and C.
  • Each question will have sub-questions.
  • Section A (Reading): 20 questions out of which any 10 questions have to be attempted.
  • Section B (Grammar): 20 questions out of which any 16 questions have to be attempted.
  • Section C (Textbooks): 14 questions with all being compulsory.
  • Time Period: 1 Hour 30 Minutes
  • Maximum Marks: 40 Marks
